Luca Cattani welcomes us to his temple of culinary well-being, inheriting his passion for catering from his father Bruno. Together they founded L’incontro in 1986 following in the footsteps of their S’Incontru in Sardinia, which a few years earlier had given them a lot of satisfaction.
The restaurant is located in a magnificent green area and includes the well-kept and essential dehors overlooking the swimming pool and the distinctive interiors of a modern restaurant that winks at design without sacrificing colour with its tropical wall, which recalls the green on the outside with a few more elegant touches.
Open all year round, it can count on a local and tourist clientele, without neglecting the visits of VIPs on holiday; in short, everyone comes to taste the cuisine of chef Franca Petta, an artist who knows how to create small masterpieces using the best local ingredients.
Looking at the menu, we have a wide choice ranging from typical Emilian dishes, which take advantage of all the goodness of the typical products of the region such as cured meats and cheeses famous all over the world, to fish dishes such as paella, fish steaks and spaghetti with seafood.
However, there is a secret that the chef jealously guards: the formula of her famous long rising pizza, soft and crunchy at the same time, one of the masterpieces of L’Incontro and one of the most popular dishes for customers! A deep pan pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven, served by the slice in a pan and topped only with the best cured meats from Parma, the freshest seafood, seasonal vegetables, buffalo mozzarella and sweet Gorgonzola.
These tasty dishes are accompanied by wines from all over Italy and on the table, there is San Benedetto Prestige Rose Edition, synonymous with purity and elegance which, with its glass format, amazes for its unique design.
Homemade desserts come to satisfy our palate, such as the famous 0 km hazelnut ice cream, the sought-after pistachio tiramisu, the cups of fresh mascarpone cream served with berries and the cheesecake garnished with strawberries.
